FUST LAB, designated as Research Institute Company No. 1542 (establishing institution: Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science), is advancing commercialization through innovative focused ultrasound technology. The company is actively pursuing its business, including its first Demonstration Event of the DEBREX equipment in November 2023 with notable international and domestic guests.
FUST LAB proposed water treatment and sludge reduction technology utilizing its core technology, focused ultrasound, which efficiently handles toxic substances, including “forever chemicals” or non-biodegradable Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS).
FUST LAB’s water treatment technology, moreover, has the ability to dramatically reduce Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in wastewater, enabling microbial decomposition.
In August, FUST LAB successfully attracted investment from BluePoint Partners and others; it has also achieved various milestones, including selection in the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Sky Platform, and the Credit Guarantee Fund's Start-up NEST.
In December 2023, FUST LAB plans to participate in the Innovation Leaders Summit in Japan, Asia’s largest open innovation summit, to engage in activities for collaboration with major Japanese companies.
